The bridge type portal gantry is big size bridge type gantry machining center. The worktable is fixed and the crossbeam is moving. And it is also a rigid machining gantry center.

Machine Features:
Work table
The worktable surface is quenched. (for Portal2516/3016/4016). The worktable hardness can be HRC48-52,so its wearing will be very slight. It can maintain high precision after long term usage.
Guide rail base
The guide rail bases are the box structure with reinforcing ribs. They are made of the HT300 resin sand-making precision casting. And the castings are treated for internal stress relieving by twice, so it can maintain long term precision.
Sliding plate、Ram
The crossbeam sliding plate is the“7” shape. There are four sliding blocks connection between sliding plate and guide rail. And there is one auxiliary box way to support.
The crossbeam plate and ram use rigid sliding guide rail, so the rigidity and stability are very good.
Crossbeam
The crossbeam is the box structure with reinforcing ribs to improve the torsional rigidity.
The crossbeam uses two linear guide rail and one auxiliary box way to support , which is the international advanced compound guide rail structure.(This is patented by NINGQING). This structure can not only meet rapid and precise moving , but can meet enough rigidity. The linear guide rail use the 55 heavy loading type.

High-tech synchronous drive technology
The crossbeam movement adapts the international advanced ultra precision synchronous drive technology, the position loop, current loop and the velocity loop.
This can solve the different loading micro deviation because of single position loop.
Compound crossbeam guide rail (Patent)
There is the extra box way based on original linear guide rail on the crossbeam rail, which can improve the cutting resistance force and loading area.
The patented designing can overcome the come weakness of cantilever among the gantry machine.
Finite element analysis structure designing
The machine structure adapts the FEA designing (Finite element analysis), which has the better loading bearing, scientific stress distribution and high stability. To ensure enough over loading bearing factor, the overall rigidity and strength designing are in accordant with consistent designing concept. The safety factor is considered thoroughly, the machine can bear overloading and tough impact.
Higher precise guide rail mounting surface
The guide railing mounting surface is grinded by precision grinding machine, so the machine precision and work piece finish will be much better than fine milled mounting surface.
