Tool Mechanics Testing Machine

The tool mechanics testing machine is specially designed for testing the mechanical properties of metal materials and hand tools such as pliers. It is widely used for torque testing and breaking torque measurement of various types of pliers and metal components such as electronic pliers, wire cutters, and electrician pliers. It can carry out the three core test items of torsion, shearing, and bending.

With “accurate controllability, full process automation” as the core, the pliers testing machine builds a full-link solution of “accurate equipment testing + intelligent control + standardized operation”, covering three key dimensions:

  • Full-process testing collaboration: The pre-processor selects the appropriate fixture (clamping type, plug-in type, block type) according to the test items (twisting/shearing/bending), and accurately clamps the sample; the intermediate link sends instructions through the computer, and the servo motor drives the reducer to drive the fixture operation to achieve stable loading, and combines the torque sensor and displacement measurement device to collect data in real time; subsequently, the software automatically completes data analysis, curve drawing, and report generation, forming an efficient closed loop of “clamping – testing – data analysis – report output”.
  • Equipment structure and principle adaptation: The core of the equipment consists of a loading system, a transmission system, a data acquisition and processing system, and a computer control display system. It adopts a horizontal structure and is equipped with high-precision reducer transmission to ensure stable and even loading; a dynamic torque sensor (range 0-150N.m) is installed on the right side, and a 2kN tension sensor is installed on the left side, which are suitable for torsion testing and bending and shear testing respectively; the control panel is equipped with ALARM, START, STOP, POWER, and E-STOP and other buttons to realize emergency stop, fault alarm and other functions to ensure safe operation; the servo speed control system controls the rotation speed (0°~1080°/min) to accurately adjust test parameters.
  • Multi-scenario adaptation design: Adapts to the testing needs of different types of pliers (electronic pliers, wire pliers, electrician pliers, etc.) and metal components. It supports a wide range of measurement of torsion angles from 0° to 1080°. The maximum bending load can reach 2000N. The maximum distance between two chucks is 0-500mm. It can meet the testing needs of various scenarios such as R&D verification, factory quality inspection, and batch sampling inspection.
